Job summary

Xelvin is seeking a Production Test Engineer in Eindhoven with a strong Electrical Engineering background to join the engineering team. You will develop and implement production test solutions for advanced electronic systems, ensuring quality before serial production.

You will collaborate with hardware, embedded software and manufacturing teams to enable efficient, reliable testing across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop production test strategies and test sequences for electronic products.
• Design test hardware, PCB interfaces, fixtures and measurement circuits.
• Develop and maintain automated test software using Python and C++.
• Perform Design for Testability (DfT) reviews during product development.
• Design and maintain automated production test setups.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Perform root cause analysis on production and test failures.
• Improve test coverage, production yield, reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the lifecycle.

In this role, you will develop and implement production test solutions for advanced electronic systems, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before entering serial production. This employer designs and manufactures highly advanced electronic systems for demanding industries such as semiconductors, industrial, automotive, medical and defense.

As a Production Test Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging product development and manufacturing by designing, developing and maintaining production test solutions. You will work closely with hardware, embedded software, and manufacturing teams to ensure products can be efficiently and reliably tested throughout their lifecycle.
