Job summary

Nearfield Instruments is seeking a Head of Product to lead the product management process, translating customer problems, market developments and technology opportunities into clear product definitions and prioritized roadmaps. You will guide teams from problem discovery through product definition and roadmap decisions, reporting to the Director of Product and Program Management.

• Significant experience in product management and leadership within a complex high-tech environment.
• Ability to translate customer problems into product outcomes and investments.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle from discovery to lifecycle evolution.
• Excellent communication to influence senior technical and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve product strategy, portfolio, and integrated roadmap.
• Lead customer and market discovery for top semiconductor manufacturers.
• Translate needs into clear product outcomes, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead early product definition with System Eng. and Dev & Eng; assess options and risks.
• Drive portfolio and roadmap decisions based on value, fit, effort, and time-to-impact.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to merge customer insights with market data.
• Align stakeholders across Sales, Systems Eng., Development, and Operations.
