AkzoNobel in Amsterdam is seeking a Product & Margin Analyst to support portfolio performance, pricing, and margin initiatives across cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Master Data.

You will coordinate data quality, develop insights, and build dashboards (Power BI) while contributing to end-to-end product introductions. Requires 1–2 years of experience and a related degree.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, or another related business function.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to work effectively across functions and teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with an interest in pricing, analytics, and product management, combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis and improvement of the product portfolio to enhance portfolio health and reduce complexity
  • Contribute to margin improvement initiatives in line with business strategy
  • Support pricing analysis, margin calculations, and development of pricing recommendations
  • Coordinate and support the end-to-end introduction of new and revised products
  • Manage product setup activities and help ensure timely processing across systems and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality product master data across business platforms
  • Provide portfolio analysis, reporting, and insights to support commercial decision-making
  • Build and manage dashboards and recurring reports, including Power BI reporting

As Product & Margin Analyst, you will support a broad range of commercial, analytical, and operational activities that contribute to portfolio performance, business efficiency, and profitability. Working closely with Product Management, Marketing, Master Data, IT, and regional stakeholders, you will help coordinate product-related processes, maintain data quality, support reporting and analysis, and contribute to pricing and margin initiatives.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced business environment. You enjoy working with data, solving problems, and partnering with different teams to drive business results.

  • 1-2 years of experience, ideally within Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, or another related business function
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
