Job summary

Fugro in Nootdorp, the Netherlands, seeks a Product Owner with GNSS expertise to drive high-precision GNSS solutions within the Innovation and Technology team. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, translating needs into features and coordinating with engineering, commercial teams, and end users to maximize value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• At least 5 years of product management experience or software product ownership.
• Strong GNSS knowledge and ability to translate user needs into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather internal and external user requirements for Satellite Positioning products and translate them into work packages, milestones, and user stories.
• Create and maintain a clear product roadmap and a well‑prioritized backlog reflecting business needs and technical priorities.
• Align the product’s technical vision with commercial objectives in collaboration with Brand Managers and co‑develop business cases.
• Take ownership of technical project progress within Fugro’s innovation framework, managing risk, budget, scope, and stakeholders.
• Refine and oversee implementation of backlog items with development teams in an Agile environment.
• Provide and coordinate technical support for your products, assisting internal teams and customers with product-related inquiries.
