Fugro is seeking a GNSS Software / Systems Engineer in Nootdorp, Netherlands, to transform advanced GNSS algorithms into production software. You will own features end-to-end, improve CI/CD and deployment pipelines, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable positioning services.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and years of software/embedded systems experience. Fluent English and a systems mindset are essential in our hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Navigation Technology, Geodesy, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in a software engineering, systems engineering, or software product development environment.
• Proficient in C/C++ development with Python or similar tooling and automation.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, Linux-based environments, and production deployment.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, software packaging, release management, and DevOps principles.
• Systems engineering mindset balancing software, hardware, and operational requirements.
• Fluent in English and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software transforming GNSS algorithms into high‑quality products.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and support.
• Build and improve CI/CD, packaging, and release pipelines across platforms.
• Collaborate with research, development, and operations teams to productionize capabilities.
• Design tools for validation, testing, monitoring, and end-user feedback.

Fugro develops and operates its own high-precision GNSS services, enabling customers worldwide to achieve superior positioning accuracy and reliability.
