Job summary

Nedap Beveiligingstechniek B.V. in Groenlo is seeking a Product Owner – Business Platform to steer the long-term vision, roadmap and priorities for Nedap's Run/Change/Product initiatives within the Accelerate program.

You will ensure the Business Platform evolves from Navision to D365 F&O while aligning with finance, operations and IT stakeholders. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, maintain continuity, and balance ongoing operations with future development, keeping the platform close to

• Coordinate Run, Change, and ongoing product development with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, and business process owners.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including Process Consultants, Application Engineers, and IT Support Engineers and ensure collaboration without taking over specialists.
• Ensure capacity, continuity, and the operational environment together with the IT Manager.
• Keep the platform as close as possible to the F&O standard and drive improvements amidst evolving needs.
• Maintain Navision reliability while rolling out the first live F&O environment in a scalable Accelerate framework.

Responsibilities

• Translate long-term ambition for the Business Platform into vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Work with Finance, Operations, Business Process Owners, domain stakeholders, key users, architects, other Product Owners, IT, and suppliers on platform decisions.
• Direct a multidisciplinary team and foster focus, trust, and collaboration while not micromanaging specialists.
• Co-own capacity, continuity, and the operational environment with the IT Manager.
• Navigate conflicts and ensure decision ownership sits at the right level.

As Product Owner – Business Platform, you provide the long-term direction for the platform that will replace Navision with a standardized D365 F&O environment. You turn the ambitions of Accelerate — Nedap’s transformation program for this ERP transition — into a clear product vision, roadmap, and priorities.

The Business Platform is deliberately broader than the ERP system itself. It supports not only Finance and Operations, but also the continued development of processes, data, and collaboration. It enables better traceability, advanced planning capabilities such as MRP, and the adoption of AI and machine learning. The platform should not only support processes, but also help automate and improve them.

Accelerate is already well underway. As Product Owner Business Platform you help turn the program's momentum into a sustainable, product-oriented way of working and a stable operational Run. You own the full lifecycle of the Business Platform: from continuity of the current Navision environment to the further development and operation of D365 F&O. You provide direction for vision, roadmap, and priorities and work with the Business Platform Team to keep daily operations, continuity, and improvement well organized. You connect Run, Change, and Product: what is delivered through Accelerate must be scalable, manageable, and workable for the organization and become part of a platform that can continue to evolve.
