Nedap is seeking a Product Manager for iD Cloud Store to translate retailer needs into roadmap priorities. You will speak with customers and store staff, turning insights into concrete product directions and decisions.
You will work with development and success teams across borders to ensure scalable, value-driven outcomes. You will explore how to make store operations more configurable and data-driven, helping the platform provide context to store associates and decisions.
From customer problem to product direction: discover what international retailers really need and help decide what we build next.
A lot happens inside a store: products arrive, move, sell, or sometimes go missing. With iD Cloud, we help international retailers understand what is happening across their stores and make everyday store operations simpler and smarter. We do this through a combination of cloud software, mobile applications, data, and RFID technology.
As Product Manager - iD Cloud, you explore the challenges retailers face and identify which problems are worth solving. You speak directly with customers and users, ask thoughtful questions, and bring different perspectives back to the underlying problem. Together with your colleagues, you turn those insights into product choices and help shape the roadmap for iD Cloud Store.
There is still plenty to explore. We want to better support high-volume store operations, make our solutions more configurable, and use the data within iD Cloud in smarter ways. In the future, our software should not only show store associates what is happening, but increasingly provide the context they need to decide what to do next. You help determine what we develop and why. Rather than treating every customer request as a feature, you look for underlying problems and solutions that can work across multiple international retailers.
Discover what matters
You speak with retailers and store associates, ask probing questions, and uncover the problem behind an initial request or proposed solution.
Turn insight into opportunity
You identify patterns across customers and translate them into product problems, hypotheses, and potential solutions.
Test ideas early
You use conversations, concepts, and prototypes to learn whether a solution genuinely fits the way people work.
Shape product direction
You combine customer insights with the direction of iD Cloud and contribute to roadmap choices and priorities within Store.
Connect customers and technology
You work closely with development, bringing the user context while understanding technical possibilities and trade-offs well enough to make stronger product choices together.
You will join the Product Management team within iD Cloud. Across different product areas, we explore how we can better support retailers and turn what we learn in the market into clear product choices.
You will have plenty of direct contact with international customers and the freedom to investigate problems yourself. You work with other Product Managers as well as colleagues across development, Customer Success, and other teams around iD Cloud. This allows you to combine different perspectives while taking ownership of your own product area.
The way we work is evolving too. We want Product Management to increasingly focus on customers, discovery, and product direction. This gives you space not only to address today's challenges, but also to explore what retailers will need from iD Cloud next.
We have the ambition, and the opportunity to shape the future. And we need people with the drive to turn that into meaningful impact. You get the chance to contribute to something truly unique, alongside more than 1,000 driven and like-minded colleagues.
From day one, you help us fulfill our purpose: Technology for Life. The way you grow, take initiative, and deliver impact helps bring that purpose to life. We shape what's next. Together.
When a customer says, "We need this feature," your first instinct is to understand why. You want to know what is really happening, why it is a problem, and whether other customers experience the same thing. You listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions, while also being comfortable introducing a different perspective. You can then bring structure to what you have learned and make it concrete enough to support clear product decisions.
Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and you and your team can coordinate your working hours to achieve a good work-life balance. You will be present at our Nedap Campus in Groenlo at least 2 times per week.
And beyond your experience, it is important to us that you identify with our culture and values and are eager to contribute to our purpose of creating Technology for Life.
