At Coolblue, you’ll have the unique opportunity to combine the roles of both Product Owner and Product Manager. Working closely with development teams and stakeholders, you’ll enhance the customer journey as well as internal tools. You'll define the product vision and roadmap, motivating your colleagues to achieve tangible goals.
What does a Product Owner at Coolblue do?
- Own a product that helps users move forward within a multidisciplinary Scrum team.
- Work closely with Analysts, Developers, Customer Journey Specialists, and other Product Owners.
- Collaborate on ideas to improve the product, prioritize them, and break them into manageable increments with the development team to deliver maximum value.
- Present vision and roadmap for upcoming quarters at the executive level.
Open positions and domain focus
There are several open positions, and together you'll determine which domain suits you best. As one of the +-40 Product Owners, you will focus on a specific part of the customer journey, a data product, tools for colleagues, and/or our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a vision to create a valuable product with your team.
- Creating and implementing a prioritized roadmap.
- Inspiring your development team and discussing the value of epics and user stories.
- Managing stakeholders to ensure the best results within your domain.
- Quickly validating assumptions.
- Making impactful decisions by determining what needs immediate action and what can be addressed later.
- Assessing requests based on their value, determining which ones are truly important.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed a University degree.
- At least 2 years full‑time experience as a Product Owner of multiple teams.
- Resides in the Netherlands.
- Strong communication skills with experience building relationships with stakeholders and development teams.
- Data‑driven decision maker, enthusiastic, curious, and passionate about technology.
- Enjoys immersing in the ideal customer journey daily.
- Strong ability to formulate research questions and quickly discern user needs.
- English level at least B2.
