Job summary

Shypple, a technology-powered logistics company, seeks a Product Leader to own strategy, roadmap and outcomes for platform areas used by customers and colleagues. You will lead cross-functional teams—developers, UX, analysts, AI engineers—reporting to the Chief Product Officer.

Location: Rotterdam, hybrid with 2–3 office days. You drive investments, measure success, apply AI where it adds value, and help define Shypple's product management approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management, including products taken into production and operated afterwards.
• Track record of owning outcomes, not just shipping features: adoption, cost savings or revenue.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI models, agents and tools; explain AI for non-technical audience.
• Strong customer discovery and data-driven way of working.
• Ability to persuade and align people without formal authority; logistics experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and roadmap for your product areas based on customer research and market insight.
• Work with operations, sales, finance and customers to define problems worth solving and frame them in data for engineering teams.
• Own delivery end-to-end: plan, scope, quality and results accountability.
• Apply AI where it makes sense and set quality standards for AI outputs and monitoring.
• Help shape how Shypple does product management and mentor colleagues.

Do you want to lead product areas end to end at a technology-powered logistics company? You will own the strategy, the roadmap and the results for parts of the platform that our customers and colleagues use every day, working with a cross-functional team to make complex logistics simple and reliable, and using AI wherever it makes the product better. Shypple makes shipping simple. We combine an easy-to-use platform with expert services to take the hassle out of a traditionally complex industry. Our platform is the central workspace for our customers, their suppliers and customers, our partners and our internal service teams. It gives real-time visibility on every shipment and brings booking, planning, delivery and collaboration with logistics partners together in one place. Our Product & Development team builds and evolves our platform, keeps it competitive and keeps improving how well it fits our focus customer segments. AI is a growing part of how we do that, in the product and in how we work. You lead product areas as the product leader of cross-functional agile teams, working with developers, UX designers, analysts and AI engineers, and you report to our Chief Product Officer. You own the strategy, the roadmap and the outcome, end to end. You drive the investments in your areas and are accountable for the results.

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including products taken into production and operated afterwards, ideally with AI-powered features. Fewer years but already working at senior level? We'd like to hear from you!
• A track record of owning outcomes, not just shipping features: you can show what your products delivered in adoption, cost savings or revenue
• Hands-on fluency with current AI models, agents and tools. You've built and tested a prototype yourself, and you can explain to a non-technical audience what AI does well, where it fails and what the risks are
• Strong customer discovery and problem framing, and a data-driven way of working
• The ability to persuade and align people without formal authority, from team to leadership level
• Logistics experience is a plus, not a must
• A Bachelor's degree or higher, and fluent English

Location: This is a hybrid role in Rotterdam, with teams in the office 2 to 3 days a week. We're open to candidates who currently live in the EU and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands and be onsite 2 to 3 days a week. If you need a work permit to work in the Netherlands, we can sponsor it. If you're moving to the Netherlands, we offer a relocation package.
