Job summary

ICON. AMSTERDAM is seeking an experienced Product Developer who lives and breathes product, fit, quality and innovation across categories. You’ll join a fast-paced team at the intersection of Design, Production, Buying and ecom to turn ideas into premium products.

With 2–3 years in fashion product development and strong technical know-how, you’ll manage suppliers and sample development, ensuring quality and fit from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of +2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
• Strong technical product development experience.
• Understands garment construction, fit, and pattern-related problem solving.
• Capable of confidently managing suppliers and sample development.

Responsibilities

• Turn great ideas into exceptional products through tech development, fittings, supplier management and production approvals.
• Collaborate across Design, Production, Buying and ecom to shape the product range.
• Influence collections from concept to production with ownership and accountability.

This is more than a product development role. You'll work at the intersection of Design, Production, Buying, and ecom helping turn great ideas into exceptional products. From technical development and fittings to supplier management and production approvals, you'll have a direct impact on the products worn by thousands of customers around the world.

We're looking for someone who:

• Completed vocational (MBO) or bachelor's (HBO) degree from institutions such as AMFI, Saxion, or TMO, or an equivalent fashion-related education.
• Minimum of +2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
• Has strong technical product development experience.
• Understands garment construction, fit, and pattern-related problem solving.
• Can confidently manage suppliers and sample development.
• Loves building premium products and continuously raising the bar.
• Brings energy, ownership, and a solution-oriented mindset.
