Job summary

Dexian Europe is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape Interior AI capabilities within the Home Imagination Platform from Amsterdam. You will work closely with engineering, product and the AI Lab to create customer experiences around AI features and prepare them for production with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes fast, frequent releases, hands-on prototyping with AI agents, and a pragmatic, ownership-driven approach to shipping innovative experiences that customers will love.

Job description

The consultant will work as a senior product designer on a business-critical initiative within the Home Imagination Platform. Working with engineering, product and the AI Lab, they will shape Interior AI capabilities through rapid, hands-on exploration and design the customer experiences around them. They will then help prepare these capabilities for implementation together with app, web and other touchpoint teams.

• The focus is delivery: frequent releases of Interior AI features, updates and experiences to customers, not long-term lab work. No travel is required.
• Build working prototypes of Interior AI ideas using agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, and use AI agents within the design process.
• Explore and test how AI capabilities should behave, what they produce and how customers interact with them.
• Design end-to-end flows, UI, interactions and motion that make complex AI capabilities intuitive within existing customer journeys.
• Work daily with engineers, product managers and AI specialists to understand model and technical constraints and adapt the design accordingly.
• Present and explain capabilities and concepts to stakeholders at every level.
• Collaborate with app, web and other product teams to move work from prototype to production, including specifications and, where relevant, code contributions.
• Take part in the team’s release cadence, test ideas early and iterate on feedback.

Required Skills:

• Senior product design experience, with a portfolio showing shipped web and mobile experiences, including AI-powered or agentic products.
• Hands‑on experience building prototypes with agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or Lovable.
• Practical experience using AI agents in the design process.
• Enough working knowledge of code and AI models (LLMs, generative image and 3D) to use them as a design material and understand their capabilities and limits.
• Strong skills in information architecture, user flows, interaction design, UI and motion.
• Ability to explain complex technology clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross‑functional product teams with engineering and data or AI specialists.
• A pragmatic, experimental approach to AI with a bias for shipping, plus the ability to take ownership in close collaboration with others.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or home furnishing.
• Experience designing for spatial, 3D or visual generative AI experiences.
