Cross Border Talents is seeking a senior product designer to own end-to-end design for a large-scale, mobile-first consumer product. You will work remotely with the Design Lead, PMs and founders, shaping surfaces from concept to shipped experience.

You will apply strategic thinking, elite UI skills, and daily AI-assisted design to deliver polished interfaces and interactive features for a mature, 18+ product. The role starts as B2B/contractor with potential transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end consumer product design experience.
• Shipped mobile-first products at scale.
• Proven 01 experience, taking products from idea to launch.
• Strong strategic thinking with elite visual execution.
• Portfolio of polished, modern UI from real consumer products.
• Measurable product impact (growth, retention, engagement).
• Daily use of AI tools for design & prototyping.
• Advanced Figma skills.

About the role

We're building a large-scale, mobile-first consumer product at the frontier of AI: chat experiences, character creation, and live and interactive formats, including AI video. This is an 18+ mature consumer product, so you'll need to be comfortable designing for adult audiences and content.

You'll join a small, fast-moving team, working directly with the Design Lead, Product Managers and founders. The role carries high ownership: you'll shape new product surfaces from first concept to shipped experience.

What we're looking for

We're looking for genuinely senior product designers with strong shipped-product portfolios, 01 experience, AI and prototyping exposure, and measurable product impact.

Essential

• 5+ years of end-to-end consumer product design experience
• A track record of designing and shipping mobile-first products at scale
• Proven 01 experience, taking products or major features from idea to launch
• Strong strategic product thinking combined with elite visual execution
• A portfolio of polished, modern, high-quality UI from real consumer products
• Demonstrable, measurable product impact (growth, retention, conversion, engagement or similar)
• Daily use of AI tools for design, prototyping or content generation, and the ability to clearly explain which tools and workflows you use
• Advanced Figma skills
• Strong prototyping skills, using design tools and/or code-based approaches
• Experience working autonomously and owning product surfaces
• Strong async communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote team
• Comfort working on 18+ mature product experiences
• Willingness to start on a B2B / contractor basis

Nice to have

• Experience with dating, AI companionship, social or other mature consumer platforms
• Subscription, paywall or monetisation product experience
• Gamification experience
• Motion, 3D or illustration skills
• Front-end fluency in HTML, CSS or JavaScript
