Huxley is seeking a Senior Product Designer / Design Technologist in Amsterdam to lead AI-enabled design initiatives within the Home Imagination Platform. You will work across engineering, product, and AI teams to shape Interior AI capabilities and deliver production-ready experiences across web and mobile.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping with agentic tools, end-to-end user journeys, and rapid feature delivery, with onsite presence three days per week in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Senior Product Designer with shipped web/mobile products.
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic products.
• Hands-on prototyping with Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable or similar tools.
• Practical use of AI agents in design workflows.
• Strong understanding of code and AI models (LLMs, generative imagery, 3D).

Responsabilités

Background

A leading international retail organization is investing heavily in agentic commerce, using AI to transform how customers discover inspiration, plan, and purchase products for their homes.

Interior AI is a business-critical capability that enables customers to visualize ideas in their own living spaces and convert generated designs into actual products, pricing, and shopping baskets.

Speed to market is essential, as AI-driven home design solutions are rapidly becoming a competitive differentiator.

The assignment is within the Home Imagination Platform, a multidisciplinary product team consisting of designers, researchers, engineers, product managers, and AI specialists. The team develops Interior AI capabilities that are integrated into digital customer touchpoints such as web and mobile platforms.

Assignment

The consultant will work as a Senior Product Designer on a strategic AI initiative within the Home Imagination Platform.

Working closely with engineering, product, and AI teams, the consultant will:

• Shape Interior AI capabilities through rapid hands-on exploration.
• Design customer experiences around AI-powered functionality.
• Support implementation and rollout across digital channels.
• Contribute to frequent feature releases and continuous product improvements.
• Focus on delivery and production-ready outcomes rather than exploratory research.

No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Build functional prototypes using agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable.
• Leverage AI agents throughout the design process.
• Explore, test, and refine AI capabilities and customer interactions.
• Design end-to-end user journeys, information architecture, UI, interaction patterns, and motion design.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, product managers, and AI specialists.
• Translate technical possibilities and constraints into intuitive customer experiences.
• Present concepts and capabilities to stakeholders at all levels.
• Work with multiple product teams to bring concepts from prototype to production.
• Support release cycles, testing activities, and iterative improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior Product Design experience with a portfolio of shipped web and mobile products.
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic products.
• Hands-on prototyping experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, or similar tools.
• Practical experience using AI agents in the design process.
• Strong understanding of code and AI models, including LLMs, generative image models, and 3D technologies.
• Expertise in:
