Job summary

Prodrive Technologies – Power Conversion is seeking a Product Cost Manager to oversee cost estimation from concept to production. You will develop reliable cost breakdowns, analyze BOMs, and work with cross-functional teams to improve profitability and counter inflationary pressures.

You will also build cost models and dashboards to track component costs and product margins, guiding strategic decisions. In this role, you will drive cost transparency, support business cases, and contribute to

Qualifications

Bachelor and/or master’s degree in a technical and/or business-oriented field.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
Understanding of BOM structures, components and manufacturing methods.
Analytical mindset with cost modeling and dashboards experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Take ownership of cost estimation for new and redesigned products by creating reliable Cost Breakdowns with cross-functional input.
Analyze product portfolios and Bills of Materials to identify cost drivers and current cost structures.
Lead cost-saving initiatives to counteract inflationary pressures and improve profitability.
Develop and maintain tools and reports tracking costs from component costs to product margins.
Collaborate across departments to ensure cost information is transparent and actionable.
Refine and improve cost calculation methods and models for scalability.
