Job summary

JD Logistics, part of JD.com, seeks an experienced Product Compliance professional in Rotterdam to ensure EU and destination-country compliance for cross-border products. You will review and manage supplier documentation, labeling, and certifications to support compliant shipments.

You will coordinate with customs, warehouses, and internal teams on HS codes, import requirements, and DoC updates, while monitoring regulatory changes and driving process improvements in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Review EU and destination-country product regulations.
• Review CE DoC, test reports and labeling for compliance.
• Coordinate HS codes and import requirements with customs and warehouses.
• Perform inbound compliance checks during warehouse intake.
• Investigate and resolve product compliance issues and risks.
• Monitor EU regulatory changes and continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities

Cross-Border Product Compliance Management: Responsible for reviewing and managing the compliance of cross-border imported and exported products, ensuring compliance with EU and destination-country regulations, product safety standards, labeling requirements, and market access requirements.2. Product Certification and Documentation Review: Review product compliance documentation, including CE certifications, Declarations of Conformity (DoC), test reports, product labels, and other required documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity.3. Import Customs Compliance Coordination: Coordinate with customs clearance teams, logistics service providers, and overseas warehouses to verify HS codes, customs declaration information, and import regulatory requirements, supporting smooth customs clearance and warehouse inbound operations.4. Inbound Product Compliance Inspection: Conduct compliance checks before and during warehouse inbound operations, identify issues related to product labeling, packaging, certification, and declaration information, and follow up on the segregation, rectification, and handling of non-compliant products.5. Compliance Exception and Risk Management: Investigate and resolve product compliance issues, including missing certifications, invalid documentation, incorrect labeling, customs inspections, and regulatory risks. Coordinate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and ensure timely resolution.6.
