Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking an intern to support the Indirect Commodities Purchasing Team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on driving process compliance, stakeholder engagement, reporting and follow-up activities within a dynamic procurement environment.

You will coordinate communications, monitor actions, and help implement continuous improvement initiatives across Procure-to-Pay processes while developing training materials for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Motivated student with an interest in procurement, business processes and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills and can translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• Well organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier and stakeholder communications, track progress, and maintain visibility of open actions and information requests.
• Monitor and follow up supplier and stakeholder action items to ensure timely completion of procurement-related initiatives.
• Support the execution of awareness campaigns and training initiatives aimed at improving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process compliance and reducing workflow exceptions.
• Develop training materials, user guides, communication content, and presentations for internal stakeholders on purchasing processes.
• Analyze workflow and process data, identify recurring issues and bottlenecks, and prepare status reports and performance insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and helping for implementing corrective actions with stakeholders.
