Job summary

Frontseat Partners is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead a small team and strengthen procurement in a highly regulated medical devices environment. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier relationships and contract negotiations to deliver measurable value.

The role is hands-on and strategic, shaping supplier terms, cost savings and risk management while collaborating with Operations, Quality, R&D and Finance. Occasional international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within manufacturing or regulated sectors.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong commercial and contractual experience.
• Strategic thinker who is hands-on when needed.
• Independent, pragmatic communicator with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in MedTech/Medical Devices/Life Sciences preferred.
• Other regulated or complex industries are relevant.
• ISO 13485 / QMS knowledge is an advantage.

For an international organisation operating within the highly regulated Medical Device environment, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead a small Procurement team and further strengthen an established procurement function.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation and operational execution. You will join a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organisation where Procurement has genuine influence, giving you significant ownership and the opportunity to shape supplier relationships, commercial agreements and the further development of the Procurement function.

The Role

Your Profile

• Strong Procurement/Purchasing experience within manufacturing;
• Proven experience leading and developing a small team;
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills;
• Strong commercial and contractual experience;
• Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable being hands-on;
• Independent, pragmatic and confident communicating with senior stakeholders;
• Experience within MedTech, Medical Devices, Pharma, Biotech or Life Sciences is preferred;
• Other regulated or complex industries such as automotive, electronics, aerospace or high-tech manufacturing are also relevant;
• ISO 13485 / QMS knowledge is an advantage.

Location:

The Randstad – 3 days per week in the office

Travel:

Occasional international travel
