Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in offshore and/or onshore projects (energy, oil & gas, renewables, or infrastructure).
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience with international suppliers and logistics coordination.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong advantage).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite PO to ensure on-time delivery.
• Act as primary contact between suppliers and internal teams.
• Track supplier progress against schedules and identify delays.
• Follow up with vendors to mitigate delivery issues.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics, and engineering priorities.
• Maintain records of expediting activities and communications.
• Support inspection and logistics teams for shipment readiness.
• Participate in supplier meetings and performance reviews.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Expeditor to support project execution by ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. The role is critical in monitoring supplier performance, expediting orders, and maintaining alignment between procurement, engineering, and project teams.

The ideal candidate has experience working in multidisciplinary offshore and/or onshore projects within the energy or infrastructure sectors in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal project teams regarding order status.
• Track supplier progress against agreed schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
• Proactively follow up with vendors to mitigate delivery issues and ensure commitments are met.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to align priorities and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of expediting activities, reports, and supplier communications.
• Support inspection and logistics teams to ensure readiness for shipment and delivery.
• Participate in supplier meetings and performance reviews where required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in offshore and/or onshore projects (energy, oil & gas, renewables, or infrastructure).
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience working with international suppliers and logistics coordination.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong advantage).
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU passport or valid work permit).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in offshore wind or large-scale infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.
• Familiarity with procurement and expediting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Aconex, or similar).
• Knowledge of Incoterms, logistics processes, and international shipping requirements.
• Understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
• Strong follow-up and persistence
