Job summary

Ahold Delhaize invites you to join the Not-for-Resale (NFR) Sourcing internship in Zaandam, with 32–40 hours per week, split between our Zaandam HQ and remote work. You will contribute to European cross-border procurement and sustainability initiatives within a dynamic, diverse team.

The role focuses on procurement excellence, sourcing intelligence, and sustainable procurement, offering hands-on projects and real responsibilities during a 5–6 month internship starting February 2027.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ambitious with willingness to take on responsibility.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow market developments in sub-categories.
• Support category teams with sourcing strategies.
• Build compelling stories and engage with stakeholders.
• Create actionable insights from market intelligence.
• Support Supply Chain Sustainability activities.
• Work on design and implementation of new developments.
• Coordinate and publish the European newsletter.
