Job summary

Refresco is seeking a Procurement Assistant for our European Headquarters in Rotterdam. You will support day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination, working with Ingredients buyers to manage contracts, purchase orders and shipments.

You will analyze forecasts and inventory, maintain supplier data in SAP/S/4HANA, contribute to the European Supplier Portal, and help drive process improvements across Procurement, Logistics and Finance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and planning skills with data interpretation ability.
• Structured, accurate, and deadline-driven with cross-country collaboration.
• Clear communication with suppliers and colleagues across functions.
• Proactive mindset and interest in process improvements.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse forecasts, inventory, contract positions and supply data to identify coverage requirements, risks and opportunities.
• Provide buyers with accurate, timely information to support purchasing decisions and continuity of supply.
• Support the end-to-end execution of contracts, purchase orders and shipments.
• Coordinate scheduling, documentation, quality requirements and invoice follow-up.
• Work with buyers, suppliers and colleagues across functions to resolve operational issues.
• Gather, validate and maintain supplier information in SAP, S/4HANA and other systems.
• Support the European Supplier Portal and other procurement projects and system improvements.
• Maintain clear process documentation and ensure effective communication and handovers.
