VDL TIM Hapert invites you to join their new, modern factory in Hapert as a Process Operator Mechatronics. You will ensure the fully automated production line runs smoothly, collaborating with production operators, process engineers and the technical department.

The role requires technical skills at MBO level 3-4, willingness to work in five shifts (with a 30% shift allowance), and good communication in English or Dutch. You contribute to 24/7 production and continuous improvements.

Job description

Would you like to work in the new modern factory of VDL TIM in Hapert? For this factory we are looking for several process operators who want to work in 5 shifts. These teams will ensure that the almost fully automated new production line runs 24/7 to make wheelhubs. What will you do as Process Operator Mechatronics?

As process operator mechatronics you are responsible for making the production process run as smoothly as possible. You will work closely with the team of production operators, process engineers and colleagues from the technical department.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, adjust and convert machines;
• Optimize the line of robotized machines and monitor safety;
• Perform measurements and register possible deviations;
• Be responsible for first-line maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Ensuring order and cleanliness (WCM-5S).

Finally, you carry out improvements in close cooperation with process engineers and play an important role at the start of the first production on the new automated production line in our brand new hall in Hapert.

Your profile

• Are technically skilled, preferably at MBO level 3-4;
• Are willing to work in 5 shifts (for a compensation of 30%);
• Have good communication skills in the English or Dutch language;
• Have an affinity and a healthy interest in technology;
• Are accurate, quality-conscious and think in terms of solutions;
• Get the most out of our automated process and make suggestions for improvement.
