Job summary

SageBeans RPO in Utrecht is seeking an experienced Systems Process Manager to join the COO's Business Support team. You will oversee the functional management, configuration, and continuous improvement of Azure DevOps, collaborating with Product Owners, stakeholders, and end users to align processes with business needs.

The ideal candidate has strong Azure DevOps experience, and solid grounding in Agile and Scrum, with a track record in process optimisation, change management, and training

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Information Systems or related field.
• Experience configuring and managing an Azure DevOps environment.
• Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in process optimisation and change management.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Systems Process Manager to join the Business Support team within the COO organisation in Utrecht.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the functional management, configuration, and continuous improvement of Azure DevOps. The role involves working closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and end users to establish consistent processes, improve ways of working, and ensure that Azure DevOps supports the organisation’s business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure DevOps functional management, Agile and Scrum methodologies, process optimisation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the functional configuration of Azure DevOps to meet stakeholder requirements, particularly in portfolio management and reporting.
• Analyse, document, and process change requests, providing the Product Owner with clear insights into their impact.
• Develop, implement, and maintain consistent, scalable, and future-proof processes and working methods within Azure DevOps.
• Support stakeholders and end users through advice, training sessions, and workshops.
• Design and deliver training on Azure DevOps standards, functionality, and processes to different user groups.
• Advise on the configuration and use of dashboards, queries, fields, and reports within Azure DevOps.
• Drive process improvements and ensure consistent application of standards across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, users, and other stakeholders to improve system functionality and operational efficiency.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in the functional configuration and management of an Azure DevOps environment.
• Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in process optimisation, functional management, and change management.
• Good command of both Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• A proactive approach, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Availability for the full duration of the assignment.
• Experience developing and delivering user training and workshops.
• Experience creating and managing Azure DevOps dashboards, queries, and reports.
• Knowledge of automation and reporting tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI.
• Experience standardising processes and improving ways of working across teams.

Team and Working Environment

The candidate will join the Business Support team within the COO organisation.

The Standards & Support team focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining consistent processes and working methods. The role involves regular collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and Azure DevOps users to ensure that systems and processes support efficient and transparent operations.

The position follows a hybrid working policy.
