Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands is seeking a Process Engineer to support technology transfer and production of CAR-T products for global trials and commercial supply in Leiden. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing support or related biopharma experience (MSAT/manufacturing/process development)
• Knowledge of facility/clean room design, process design or equipment, automation.
• Hands-on with single-use technologies, closed systems, or cold chain/cryogenic tech.
• Experience with startup, transfer or setup of new manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize end-to-end production processes.
• Investigate process deviations during manufacturing.
• Author/review/approve technical documents (investigations, changes, SOPs, batch records).
• Interact with Manufacturing Operations on Shop Floor and Front Line Support.
• Provide input on events during manufacturing and troubleshooting.
• Support change initiatives and process improvement.
• Own change controls and MSAT impact assessments.
• Participate in cGMP compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with BMS Cell Therapy network for lessons learned.
• Assist in technology transfer into Leiden Cell Therapy Facility.
• Work in shifts to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with local MSAT MES, PDDA, Manufacturing Ops, QA, and Supply Chain.
• Assist regulatory inspections as process SME when required.
• Data collection/analysis with cross-functional teams; work with Engineering/Maintenance on new tech.
