Thermo Fisher Scientific in Tilburg manufactures softgel capsules and seeks a Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing performance, robustness and capability. You will lead technical improvement and CAPEX projects, collaborate with Operations, Maintenance & Engineering, Quality, Validation and other functions to translate challenges into sustainable technical improvements.

Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in process/manufacturing/production engineering.
• Experience in regulated pharma/biotech/food environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• CAPEX project experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality systems and validation principles.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and interactions.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve capability, robustness, yield, and manufacturability.
• Develop and implement technical process improvements and assess outcomes.
• Provide engineering input for complex or recurring manufacturing issues.
• Lead process improvement and CAPEX projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide input during equipment design, commissioning, qualification and implementation of new or modified processes and equipment.
• Act as SME for assigned processes and support validation and lifecycle activities.
• Ensure activities comply with GMP, quality and EH&S requirements.
