Job summary

Verano B.V. in Noord-Brabant, Best is seeking a skilled professional to lead the NPI process from prototype to full-scale production. Candidates should have an HBO/WO level in Mechanical Engineering and experience in technical production environments.

Qualifications

• HBO/WO level in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in a technical production, engineering or industrialisation environment.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, SPC or Lean.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end NPI process—from prototype and pilot production through stable handover to full‑scale production.
• Translate product designs into manufacturable, standardised, and scalable production processes, ensuring process stability, reproducibility and quality.
• Analyse technical and process challenges and work collaboratively with engineering, production and quality to implement continuous improvements.
• Configure processing steps, optimise process parameters and ensure production processes remain robust and controllable at high volumes.
• Initiate and implement efficiency, error‑reduction and standardisation initiatives; produce clear process documentation, work instructions and enforce quality standards.

Qualifications

• HBO/WO level in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in a technical production, engineering or industrialisation environment.
• Strong technical insight combined with analytical and process‑based thinking.
• Knowledge of quality and improvement methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, SPC or Lean (preference).
• Experience in a high‑volume production environment (preference).
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and cultures.
• Proactive, structured and results‑oriented work attitude.
