Job summary

Penn Color International BV is seeking an energetic Process Operator Thermoplastics / Packaging to support masterbatch production in a three-shift operation (06:00-14:30, 13:30-22:00, 21:45-06:15).

You will prepare raw material pre-mix, manage internal logistics to/extruders, operate the extruder, assist in post-processing, and pack products. You also perform maintenance and cleaning and work as part of a tidy, safety-conscious team that values quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a process operator.
• Must have English or Dutch language proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a three-shift operation.
• Be a team player with a preference for order and tidiness.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing of plastic masterbatches including pre-mix of raw materials.
• Handle logistics to and from extruders and operate the extruder.
• Assist in post-processing and packing of products for customers.
• Perform machine maintenance and cleaning.

To strengthen our team we are looking for enthusiastic candidates for the position of:

Process Operator Thermoplastics / Packaging

The Function:

You support the process of manufacturing plastic masterbatches. You will make the pre-mix of raw materials, take care of the logistics to, and from, the extruders, operate the extruder, support in any post-processing and pack the plastic masterbatches before they are sent to our customers. In addition, maintenance of, and cleaning of, the machines will also be part of the job responsibilities. The work is performed in a three-shift operation (rotating 06:00 - 14:30 / 13:30 - 22:00 / 21:45 - 06:15)

The Profile:

We are looking for an energetic person with some technical insight and 5+ years experience as an proces operator. Efficiency is your first priority and you are also quality conscious. In addition, you are a team player and you like order and tidiness in the workplace. You master at least the English or Dutch language. Next to that, you have to be willing to work shifts.
