Job summary

Exter B.V. is seeking an All-Round Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot malfunctions and investigate efficiency improvements across our factory processes.

You will work independently, identify causes, and implement technical improvements in a dynamic production environment. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis of rotating equipment, and on-call support roughly every four weeks.

Qualifications

• What you bring to the table includes a completed technical MBO or equivalent in mechanical domains.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance in a production environment and knowledge of rotating equipment.
• Ability to analyze malfunctions and resolve them in a structured manner.
• Good communication withTechnical Services and Production teams.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across production equipment.
• Analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Investigate root causes of recurring issues and propose improvements.
• Test and evaluate new machines and equipment for reliability.
• Contribute to technical projects and system modifications.
