High Tech Source in the Eindhoven region is seeking a PCB Engineer to turn complex schematics into reliable, manufacturable, high‑performance printed circuit boards. You will design, review, and optimize layouts, define stack-ups, and work with Electrical, mechanical engineers, PCB manufacturers, and in‑house assembly teams to bring concepts to production.

You will apply advanced PCB technologies, ensure IPC and quality targets, and continuously improve design practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering is required.
• Experience with PCB design and layout for electronic products.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Read, interpret, and translate electrical schematics into PCB designs.
• Design PCBs from concept to release, including stack-up definition, component placement, and routing.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, PCB manufacturers, and in-house assembly teams.
• Work closely with PCB manufacturers to resolve engineering challenges and optimize manufacturability.
• Apply innovative PCB technologies to support the development of advanced electronic products.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, IPC requirements, quality standards, and reliability targets.
• Continuously improve PCB design practices, product quality, and manufacturing processes.

As a PCB Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation electronic products by designing reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance PCB solutions. About the role

You will play a key role in the development of innovative electronic products, translating electrical schematics into robust, high-performance PCB designs that meet demanding performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.

From initial concept to production release, you will collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, PCB manufacturers, and in-house assembly teams. Your expertise will help optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability while contributing to the adoption of innovative PCB technologies and engineering best practices.

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience or a solid technical understanding of PCB design and layout for electronic products.
• The ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, or similar.
• Knowledge of PCB stack-up design, component placement, routing, signal integrity, and Design for Manufacturability (DfM).
• An understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• A proactive approach to technical challenges, taking ownership of finding practical and effective solutions.
• A strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement, combined with a genuine interest in new technologies.
