Toloka AI’s ML team seeks a Principal ML Researcher to define the technical vision for post-training, RLHF/RLAIF, and evaluation at scale. You’ll bridge frontier AI research with platform engineering and mentor senior researchers.

You’ll lead greenfield post-training pipelines, distillation, and inference optimization, while collaborating with product and leadership to shape Toloka’s AI roadmap. Remote or hybrid options available for NL/Serbia bases.

Formación

• 6+ years in ML engineering or applied research.
• 3+ years leading LLM post-training, fine-tuning, or alignment at scale.
• Mastery of LLM alignment: SFT, LoRA/PEFT, RLHF/RLAIF, and related techniques.
• Proven history building evaluation/calibration pipelines for LLMs.
• Strong Python/PyTorch experience; distributed training systems.

Responsabilidades

• Define multi-quarter strategy and architecture for Toloka’s post-training stack.
• Architect greenfield post-training & RL pipelines to support platform-wide LLM alignment.
• Design automated evaluation ecosystems including human-aligned LLM-as-a-judge frameworks.
• Lead research initiatives on model distillation, quantization, and inference optimization.
• Mentor senior ML researchers and influence cross-functional roadmaps.
• Represent Toloka in AI research community and translate client challenges into scalable architecture.
