Job summary

Jobgether seeks an experienced AI researcher specializing in large language models (LLMs) to push the boundaries of next-generation AI. You will investigate challenges in model architecture, data curation, distributed training, and reinforcement learning, translating discoveries into scalable, production-ready capabilities.

The role offers substantial autonomy within a fast-moving, AI-first environment, with remote work across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied deep learning research.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures and loss functions.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, data curation, distributed training, and RL.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with transformer architectures, autoregressive and seq2seq models.
• Distributed computing and large-scale data processing knowledge.
• Ability to design experiments and improve model performance.
• Excellent communication and autonomous work mindset.
• Interest in translating research into practical applications.
• Comfort in fast-paced AI-first environments with continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists to define and develop new LLM initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews, classify and synthesize existing methods.
• Design and execute experimental programs for LLM development and optimization.
• Research and improve transformer architectures and training methods.
• Lead large-scale LLM training initiatives using distributed infrastructure.
• Investigate data curation, training efficiency, and RL techniques.
• Translate research experiments into scalable, production-ready models.
• Document findings and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Monitor latest DL developments to identify applicable techniques.
