• Own the hard problems and translate loosely defined product or platform issues into clear statements, constraints, and success criteria.
• Rationalize complex architectures into coherent, reviewable designs for incremental implementation.
• Trade off speed, quality and maintainability with clear explanations of decisions.
• Raise the bar on engineering practices by identifying SDLC friction and improving testing, specs and feedback loops.
• Lead adoption of specification driven development with explicit contracts and well-defined interfaces.
