Job summary

eyeo is hiring a Senior CMOS Image Sensor Characterization Engineer to own the strategy, methodology, and technical direction for electrical and optical characterization of CMOS image sensors. You will drive development of automated test systems and data pipelines, and mentor engineers in characterization techniques within a fast-growing start-up.

You will lead sensor bring-up, debugging, and validation from prototype through production, collaborating with internal and external teams,

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related field (Ph.D. strongly preferred for Principal).
• 10+ years (Expert) or 12–15+ years (Principal) of progressive, hands-on experience in CMOS image sensor testing or optoelectronic device characterization.
• Proven track record architecting automated test and characterization systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own strategic roadmap and methodology for CMOS image sensor characterization.
• Architect and lead development of automated characterization systems and lab infrastructure.
• Lead data analysis of sensor performance metrics and diagnose root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on image sensor characterization topics.
• Author technical reports and present findings to leadership and partners.
• Drive sensor bring-up, debugging, and validation from prototype to production.
