Medtronic in the Netherlands is seeking a highly analytical Business Performance Analyst to join the TPM team. You will transform performance data into actionable insights, support leadership reviews, and drive continuous improvements across the EMEA region.

You will develop and automate dashboards using Power BI, establish KPIs, and partner with Service Center, Customer Care, Remote Support and Field Service teams to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, engineering, data science, supply chain, operations management, finance or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience in business analytics, operational excellence, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong experience with Power BI/Tableau, SQL and large datasets.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and tell stories to executives.

We are seeking a highly analytical, curious, and impact-driven Business Performance Analyst to join our growing Total Performance Management (TPM) team. The successful candidate will help improve operational efficiency, customer experience, service execution, performance, and organizational accountability through data-driven performance management. In this role you will help transform performance data into business decisions, create visibility where ambiguity exists, identify opportunities hidden within complex operational data, and enable leaders to make faster, smarter, and more informed decisions. As a trusted advisor to S&R EMEA leadership, you will work directly with senior business stakeholders to influence strategic priorities, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and maintain performance management frameworks, dashboards and reporting solutions aligned with EMEA strategic objectives.
  • Establish a single source of truth through standardized KPIs, metrics, definitions and data governance in collaboration with key functions.
  • Transform complex operational, financial and customer data into actionable insights to support business reviews and leadership decision-making.
  • Analyse trends, risks and performance gaps, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide evidence-based recommendations and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into measurable business outcomes, track actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and automate performance reporting and analytics using Power BI and Microsoft technologies, improving data quality, KPI integrity and reporting efficiency.
  • Support forecasting, predictive analytics, early-warning capabilities and AI-enabled performance management solutions to strengthen proactive decision-making.
  • Collaborate across Service Center, Customer Care, Remote Support, Field Service, Global teams and EMEA leadership, promoting transparency, accountability and a data-driven performance culture.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in business analytics, operational excellence, performance management, business intelligence, consulting, continuous improvement, or similar analytical roles.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite of technologies, Power BI and/or Tableau, relational databases, with command of SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating unstructured and semi-structured data into business insights.
  • Ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders across functions, countries, cultures and organizational levels.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex topics to executive audiences in English.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize and manage their time in a complex environment
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and data-curious with the ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within medical devices, healthcare, regulated industries, manufacturing, service operations, supply chain, or other service-oriented organizations.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP HANA, including understanding of transactional data, master data structures, reporting concepts, and operational data models.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, process mining, large language models (LLMs), or intelligent automation to business problems.
  • Experience and knowledge of Customer Care, Remote support and digital enablement processes, strategies and services.
  • Experience automating reporting or analytical workflows using Microsoft Fabric or separate tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, Python or similar technologies.
  • Experience in project, program, or performance management, including supporting cross-functional improvement initiatives, embedding governance and managing the changes.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, MPS (Medtronic Performance System), DMAIC, A3 problem solving, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
