Job summary

ML6 - Accelerate Intelligence in Amsterdam seeks a Principal Engineer to shape the strategy and delivery of our AI offerings across CX and Emerging domains, blending deep technical leadership with client-facing advisory.

You will own domain strategy, lead large, complex projects, and help translate technical excellence into tangible business value at scale, collaborating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in tech or consultancy.
Deep knowledge of GenAI, conversational AI, and/or agentic systems.
Strong ability to engage executive stakeholders (CTO/C-level).
Strategic thinker bridging technology and business value.
Excellent communication in English; Dutch/German is a plus.

Define the Future: own domain or cross-project strategy and investments.
Win Big Deals: differentiate technically to win large AI-powered deals.
Lead the Way: guide large projects from ideation to delivery with reusable blocks.
Solve the Toughest Problems: help teams overcome complex challenges to stay on track.
Orchestrate and Direct: motivate teams, clarify responsibilities, provide guidance to tech leads.
Be a Thought Leader: share expertise and represent ML6 at industry events.
