Job summary

ML6 is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the strategy of our AI offerings across Customer Experience and Emerging domains. You will lead large, complex AI projects, and translate customer challenges into AI-powered solutions in client conversations.

In this highly visible role, you’ll drive delivery excellence, build reusable components, mentor teams, and represent ML6 at industry events. Fluency in English is required; Dutch or German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in tech or consultancy with a proven track record of delivering large and complex AI/software projects.
• A deep passion and knowledge of GenAI, conversational AI, and/or agentic systems, with a clear interest in customer-facing use cases and emerging technologies
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, and the organizational realities of implementing AI solutions at scale
• Comfortable commanding room presence with executive stakeholders (CTO/C-level) and owning pre-sales technical design
• A strategic mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business value, effectively communicating with both technical teams and C-level executives
• Exceptional conflict resolution skills and the ability to ensure resolution in critical situations
• A proactive and self-starting leader who thrives on taking full ownership of projects, teams, and domains
• Strong communication skills in English (extra plus when speaking a local language like Dutch or German on top)
