Job summary

Viatris Netherlands is seeking a Pricing, Tender & Demand Associate Manager to partner with internal stakeholders to maximise revenue, anticipate risks in European and national pricing, and support local management with business cases.

You will advise on pricing decisions, develop dashboards, maintain tender databases, translate market dynamics into demand forecasts with the supply chain, and report performance to sales, marketing, finance, and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 years in Pricing, Tender or demand planning.
• 2 years in the Dutch pharmaceutical market.
• Excellent analytical, communication, administrative and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated project management.
• Able to adapt when business conditions change.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical/generics pricing dynamics.
• Collaborative work style across functions and geographies.
• Hands-on/make-it-happen attitude.
• Motivation for data analysis and insights.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Analysis: Partner with internal key stakeholders to maximize revenue potential of the products. Anticipate and evaluate risks associated with European & national pricing.
• Business cases: Provide support to local management with business case preparation and impact analysis, and effectively coordinate pricing exception requests.
• Pricing: Advise on trade-off / pricing decisions to optimize revenue. Develop ad hoc dashboards and trackers to monitor performance and price realization.
• Maintenance: Establish, govern and maintain the processes & databases to prepare, optimize and evaluate wholesale & HIC tender agreements.
• COG’s: Ensure price approval and price governance processes are respected.
• Quotations: Timely preparation of price and tender proposals to internal stakeholders.
• Demand planning: Translate pricing strategies and other market dynamics into demand forecasting, collaborating with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management and production planning, and develop statistical modeling techniques to guide forecast decisions.
• Reporting: Provide information about our performance within the wholesale and HIC agreements and share this with the relevant stakeholders within the organization (sales, marketing, finance, supply and management).

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 3 years in Pricing, Tender or demand planning
• 2 years in the Dutch pharmaceutical market
• Excellent Analytical, communication, administrative and organizational skills
• Demonstrated project management
• Must be able to maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes in business environment by adapting project plans and implementing action steps to address the changes.
• Good knowledge of the market and price dynamics related to pharmaceuticals/generics.
• Collaborative work style and ability to work with and develop strong working relationships with colleagues from various functions, geographies, and various levels within the organization.
• Strong hands‑on/make‑it‑happen attitude
• High level of intrinsic motivation and gets energized by Data Analysis
• Working proficiency in Dutch and English
