Job summary

EvolveTalent is helping a world leader in materials science recruit a Production Operator – Screen Preparation & Reclaim at a Leiden area facility. You will clean, reclaim, and stretch screen mesh, operating washing stations and tension meters to maintain quality.

The role requires a hands-on, flexible team player who can support adjacent production areas when needed. Experience with screen printing or screen stretching is a plus, and safety with chemical agents is essential.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical background is required.
• Experience with screen stretching or working in a screen printing facility is a strong plus.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and strip used screens and prepare frames for reclaim.
• Stretch new screen mesh onto frames to precise tension levels.
• Operate and maintain washing stations, tension meters, and degreasers.
• Inspect screens for mesh tension and quality, ensuring removal of grease or ghost images.
• Handle chemicals and frame adhesives safely according to safety guidelines.
• Support other production areas during peak periods and keep the facility organized and safe.
