Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Precision Assembler to prepare and assemble components per drawings and work orders, conduct tests, and document processes. The role requires reading blueprints, operating precision tools, and maintaining clean, compliant assemblies in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing inspections, and ensuring on-time delivery while supporting continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Workshop experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automation control and electrical components.
• Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines or general mechanic work.
• General certificate of education or vocational training.
• HS Diploma / GED with 3-5 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble according to drawings and work orders, perform required tests.
• Interpret inspection equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Ensure cleanliness of parts prior to assembly and follow procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Operate precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier, CMM) and hand tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain attention to detail and results orientation.
• Compute basic measurements and conversions.
• Engage in CIP activities and follow Flowserve policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Write routine reports and communicate with peers and customers.
• Provide customer-service mindset for on-time delivery.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and Office.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Contribute to team building and continuous improvement.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
