Job summary

QuiX Quantum, operating in the Netherlands and Germany, seeks a PR, Corporate Communications & Marketing Lead to shape external communications, PR and marketing strategy. You will translate complex quantum tech into engaging narratives, manage global media relations and lead product marketing efforts.

You will collaborate with leadership, scientists and product teams to accelerate growth, position executives, and drive campaigns across digital, events and publications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful PR and corporate communications strategies.
• Experience within a deep-tech, scientific, engineering or technology-driven organisation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own QuiX Quantum's corporate narrative with consistent messaging across external channels.
• Build relationships with international journalists and media outlets covering quantum computing, photonics, science, technology and business.
• Identify and develop newsworthy stories around breakthroughs, product developments, partnerships and milestones.
• Manage press releases, media enquiries, interviews and external announcements.
• Strengthen QuiX Quantum's reputation and visibility within the global quantum technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers and technical leaders to translate research into engaging content.
• Develop thought-leadership opportunities for executives and technical experts.
• Prepare executive communications, speeches, interviews, presentations and media briefings.
• Position QuiX Quantum and its leadership as credible voices in quantum computing.
• Work with Product, Sales and GTM teams to develop product positioning and launch strategies.
• Lead marketing communications for new product launches and align PR with digital, events and commercial activities.
• Create marketing materials like brochures, presentations, case studies, website content and sales enablement assets.
• Plan and execute targeted campaigns to increase product awareness and opportunities.
• Ensure scientific capabilities are communicated to highlight value for customers and partners.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and creative communications and marketing professional who can translate complex scientific innovation into compelling stories that resonate with customers, partners, media and the wider technology community.

In this role, you'll take ownership of QuiX Quantum's external communications, public relations and marketing activities. From building relationships with international journalists and positioning our leadership team as industry experts to launching new products and delivering impactful campaigns, you'll play a central role in shaping how the world sees QuiX Quantum.

This is more than a traditional PR role. We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, understands the commercial value of great communication and enjoys working at the intersection of science, technology and business.

Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, you'll work closely with our leadership, scientists, engineers, product teams and commercial organisation as we scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & Public Relations

• Develop and own QuiX Quantum's corporate narrative, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all external channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international journalists and media outlets covering quantum computing, photonics, science, technology and business.
• Identify and develop newsworthy stories around scientific breakthroughs, product developments, partnerships and company milestones.
• Manage press releases, media enquiries, interviews and external announcements.
• Strengthen QuiX Quantum's reputation and visibility within the global quantum technology ecosystem.

Scientific Communications & Executive Positioning

• Collaborate with scientists, engineers and technical leaders to translate complex research and technological developments into clear, accurate and engaging content.
• Develop thought-leadership opportunities for our executives and technical experts.

• Position QuiX Quantum and its leadership as credible voices within the quantum computing industry.

Product Marketing & Campaigns

• Work closely with Product, Sales and Go-to-Market teams to develop product positioning, messaging and launch strategies.
• Lead marketing communications for new product launches, ensuring alignment across PR, digital channels, events and commercial activities.
• Create compelling product marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, website content and sales-enablement assets.
• Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns that increase product awareness, engagement and qualified commercial opportunities.
• Ensure our scientific and technical capabilities are communicated in a way that highlights their value to customers and partners.

Digital Marketing & Events

• Oversee QuiX Quantum's external digital presence, including website content, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Develop engaging content that showcases our people, technology, products and achievements.
• Coordinate our participation in international conferences, industry events, exhibitions and speaking opportunities.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing and communications activities.
• Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

Communications Strategy & Governance

• Establish clear communication processes, messaging guidelines and approval workflows.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and professionalism across corporate, scientific and product communications.
• Support the development of communication standards appropriate for a rapidly scaling company preparing for its next stage of growth.
• Measure and report on media coverage, marketing effectiveness, brand visibility and communication impact.
