Job summary

HCL Technologies B.V. Netherland in Amsterdam seeks a platform operations engineer to manage deployments, automation and on‑call rotations. You will work across teams to ensure 24/7 platform availability and resilience in large‑scale enterprise environments.

You will design reusable automation, monitor observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and collaborate in English with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postgres DBA experience including setup, usage, performance optimization and monitoring.
• Proficient with Linux and shell scripting (Bash / Python).
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Maven tooling.
• Familiar with observability tooling (ELKaaS, Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Perform platform operations including deployments, automation, lifecycle management, support, risk, coding, testing, runbooks, incident/change management and capacity planning.
• Ensure service availability and reliability for large-scale, 24/7 platforms.
• Participate in standby/on-call rotations and share knowledge within the team.
• Design reusable automation and tooling for multiple teams.
