Qualifications

• PhD in urbanism, environmental sciences, public health, sociology, or related field.
• Experience with quantitative data analysis and statistics.
• Interest in climate justice, inclusion, migration, or community-based research.
• Experience with comparative or mixed-methods research is an asset.
• Excellent writing and English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comparative analysis of heat impacts in Antwerp and Rotterdam.
• Analyze and correlate indoor temperature/humidity with survey data from 75 households per city.
• Map inclusive local climate adaptation practices with civil partners.
• Contribute to policy frameworks and community-based adaptation strategies.
