Job summary

Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen is inviting applications for a 3-year Postdoctoral Research Scientist position in Statistical Genomics/Genetic Epidemiology. The role focuses on analyzing genetic correlates of social behaviour from infancy onward and building on current work with the EAGLE consortium.

The successful candidate will work closely with Dr Beate St Pourcain in the Population Genetics of Human Communication group, with an emphasis on international collaboration

Qualifications

  • PhD in Statistical Genomics, Genetic Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with omics data analysis.
  • Strong computational background and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out genomic analyses examining genetic correlates of social behaviour from infancy onwards, approximating developmental change.
  • Collaborate with Dr Beate St Pourcain and the Population Genetics of Human Communication group.
