Job summary

Amsterdam UMC Research BV is seeking a postdoctoral computational immunologist to develop a mechanistic multiscale model of the lymph node, focusing on adaptive immune responses. You will integrate agent-based modelling with differential equations and parameterize the model using public and collaborator datasets.

You will work within the bioinformatics group in the Epidemiology and Data Science department, collaborating with immunologists and researchers from Amsterdam UMC and partner

Qualifications

PhD in computational science or related field.
Experience with a previous postdoctoral research position.
Strong programming in Julia or Python.
Experience with agent-based modelling and differential equations.
Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Develop a mechanistic multiscale model of the lymph node.
Integrate agent-based modelling with differential equations.
Parameterize model using single-cell omics datasets.
Document model using ENCORE framework.
Contribute to teaching and grant proposal writing.
