Job summary

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) invites applications for a Postdoc to develop the Flying Vision Navigator, a dynamic roadmap tool guiding aviation toward a net-zero future by 2050.

You will join the LiT Nationaal Groei Fonds program, driving innovation in ultra-efficient aircraft designs and alternative energy carriers, and lead Work Package 2 with partners including Royal NLR, Airbus, Royal Schiphol Group, and KLM.

Qualifications

• PhD in a closely related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to think beyond current conventions to identify systemic transitions.
• Excellent analytical capabilities for second-order systemic and economic impacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Flying Vision Navigator platform across stages.
• Lead Work Package 2 on alternative energy carriers and collaborate with consortium partners.
• Engage with high-level industry partners and external experts during think tanks.
