McFly & Brown Leiden seeks a Project Manager to drive Research & Technology projects for aviation sustainability. You will oversee budgets, schedules and deliverables, coordinating with engineers, researchers and partners across national and European funding programs.
The role requires 2–5 years in project management, technical understanding, and excellent English. Experience with publicly funded projects and knowledge of SAP/Lean or PMP/IPMA/Scrum is a plus.
Would you like to help turn innovative technology into tangible results for the future of aviation? In this role, you will work on Research & Technology projects that contribute to the sustainability and decarbonisation of the aviation sector. You will operate at the intersection of technology, research and business, working closely with engineers, research institutes, universities, industry partners and government organisations. As Project Manager, you will ensure that technically complex and partly publicly funded projects are executed in a structured manner, within budget and according to schedule.
You will keep multiple technical R&T projects on track and support Project Leaders in their successful execution.
You will join an international technology environment focused on innovative solutions for the future of aviation. From Leiden, a multidisciplinary team works on Research & Technology projects that contribute, among other things, to accelerating the decarbonisation of the sector. The environment is technically driven, international and strongly focused on collaboration: engineers, project leaders and support functions work closely with universities, research institutes, industry partners and government organisations. As a result, you will not only work on technically challenging projects, but also experience the dynamics of research consortia, public funding and diverse stakeholder interests.
