Job summary

Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) invites applications for a Postdoc/researcher in the QuSoft group to explore property testing, learning theory and characterisation of bosonic quantum systems. The role includes theoretical work and potential classical simulation within a joint NL-DE-FR consortium.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in quantum computing, excellent writing and presentation skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Excellent scientist with expertise in quantum computing and quantum information processing, with strong interest in bosonic quantum computing and/or characterisation or testing/learning theory.
• Proven research talent and good academic writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Research on property testing, learning theory and characterisation of bosonic quantum systems.
• Classical simulation of bosonic quantum computation.
• Collaborate within the Quantera consortium across NL, DE, FR.
