Amsterdam UMC is seeking an AI researcher to develop innovative AI tools for psychiatry, leading research projects in collaboration with clinicians and researchers. You will co-supervise PhD candidates and initiate AI-related initiatives for students, helping to grow future researchers.
You will also co-lead the data science interest group and contribute to regional data-sharing collaborations, while actively pursuing funding to sustain this research line.
You will develop innovative AI tools to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders such as depression and schizophrenia. You will initiate and lead AI research projects in close collaboration with clinicians and researchers, combining cutting-edge AI methods with pressing clinical challenges.
In addition to conducting your own research, you will (co-)supervise PhD candidates and initiate research projects for AI students, helping to foster the next generation of researchers. You will also (co-)lead the department’s data science interest group, contribute to regional collaborations on data sharing, and actively acquire funding to expand and sustain this line of research.
