Job summary

Maastricht University seeks a postdoctoral researcher in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for cardiac electrophysiology. The project focuses on multimodal data including ECGs, device recordings, wearables, clinical trials and EHRs to build precision medicine tools.

Qualifications

• PhD in data science and/or artificial intelligence completed.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, neural networks and deep learning.
• Experience applying data science/AI to biomedical signals.

Responsibilities

• AI-assisted signal analysis and transformer-based analysis of clinical data.
• Automated data harmonisation and clustering of AF burden phenotypes.
• Develop multimodal prediction models for disease progression and treatment response.
• Develop, implement and validate state-of-the-art ML methods across datasets.
• Collaborate with clinicians, AI researchers, statisticians and industry partners.
