University of Twente invites a chemist/chemical engineer/materials scientist for a 4-year post-doctoral position focused on resin formulation for the Direct Bubble Writing process. You will lead formulation challenges to print stiff, light foams with minimal post-processing, interacting with partner institutes and industry.

The role emphasizes fluid mechanics, photo-curable resins, and characterization, with English fluency and Dutch preferred.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and foam processing.
• Experience in resin formulation and/or microfluidics.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team.

Aufgaben

• Lead the formulation challenges of the foam printing resins.
• Collaborate with two PhD/PD-level team members on process understanding and integration.
• Develop methods for scaling and application of advanced foams and composites.
