Job summary

DMT Environmental Technology in the Netherlands seeks a PLC Software Engineer to design, program, and verify PLC-based control software for biogas upgrading and LCO₂ installations. You will work with engineers, project managers, and technicians to deliver reliable systems worldwide, from design through FAT/SAT and commissioning.

You will contribute to a modern software architecture, resolve technical deviations, and support on-site commissioning while ensuring safety and quality guidelines are

Qualifications

MBO/HBO degree in Measurement & Control Technology or Control Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in a PLC programmer role.
Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems and system architecture.
Familiar with FAT & SAT and safeguarding narratives.
Dutch and English proficiency.
Knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus.
Familiarity with latest industry standards.

Responsibilities

Programming, testing, and optimising PLC software (Siemens).
Configuring and maintaining system architecture.
Preparing and executing FAT and SAT procedures.
Assisting with start-up and commissioning of installations worldwide.
Identifying and resolving technical deviations.
Adhering to DMT's quality and safety guidelines.
Collaborating with engineers and other departments to deliver projects.
